i saw the devil last night--wearing prada, of course.
the weekend in trnava was cool. except for the way back to brno. i tried out taking 9.44 bus last night--full. 11.25--full. thus today, after 4 hrs of non-refreshing sleep and 4 hrs of non-heated bus trip, i feel like a peace of crap.
at least there are some good news about my school tho. i feel very determined not to give it up.

choral weekend

so i have survived the weekend.. :) it was fairly busy. we had 3 concerts altogether - two with vox and one with tirnavia. on friday we sang in brno, it was about an hour long performance in a church, with about 40 people in the audience so it was pretty small and kinda nice. in spite of that though i didn't really enjoy the concert so much, i was just tired and wanted it to be over.. saturday wasdifferent though. i was even more tired (no wonder, after an almost three-hour-long trip to slovakia) bu7t excited.. we did a piece by mikulas schneider trnavsky that was never ever sung before. i is a mass that was written in 1945 and was never completed by the author himself but by his granddaughter who found the materials with losts of musical ideas that were not put together and after a long and tiring research, she was able to put it all together. the result is a great piece perhaps about half-an-hour long for an orchestra, a mixed choir and four soloists. after the concert, that also included another great piece-requiem by g. faure, we recorded schneider's mass and there was an afterparty starting midnight. after about 20 hours spent in slovakia (which included 3 hours of sleep) i went back to brno, only to have another concert, this time in a cave in moravsky kras region. this was a really nice experience, even though there was only 8°C and about 90 per cent humidity in the cave. i almost crashed today from being so tired but it was a nice weekend after all.. :)

it seems like i am not updating at all! sorry for that..
i've been trying to settle down here in brno and get ready for a new semester of teaching, studying and singing, and it's been crazy and great at the same time! well, i bet iot will be hard to adjust to schedules and deadlines again after SUCH a great summer this year! after all the camps and trips abroad and fun stuff.. my last vacation was with the language school colleagues in budisov (about an hour of driving from brno) and it was team-building and refreshing at the same time. here are some pics from the vacation>

anyhow, i am really updating only because our departure to the TLC vacation was postponed.. we're waiting for the director and will hopefully be leaving in about 30 minutes from brno to budisov, which is sorta close (about 45min driving from here).. will meet some new colleagues there and hopefully will have fun and get some good rest.

how am i doing tho? well, i think this's been my bussiest summer ever and i went to tons of new places - the most recent are hungary and switzerland, and now i am ready to chill out :)) i made it safe to brno today and will stay in CR for at least 2 weeks and then stay here for the semester and go to TT on the weekends..

man, the time FLIES!!! amd i am really bad at updating.. :(
even tho, there's been many interesting things going on!! well, maybe not that interesting but i'm having tons of fun! ;) after the camps i went to brno for a week or so to teach some classes. it was great to see my students again and just hang out and play games inj english.. gotta love'em! :)) at the weekend that week i went to walachian region in northern moravia to my friend's house - kuba is a dear friend from the brno choir and we've spent a great weekend with other 4 friends there which was extremely relaxing for me! :)
and then, this past weekend becky mcdaniel from lakeside, OH, came for a short but intensive visit and we just had a blast seing each other after 2 years. thanks becky for being such a friend! :)
well, that's about it (in a very condensed fashion). i hope to post some more pictures later..

my future flatmates

hey there guys, i am busy again.. but i love it ;) we are getting ready for da CAMPS (!!!!) at the building and i am SOOOO excited about them!! :)) i am still teaching a LOT but it's very enjoyable still.. mrrr, megs, c'ena and eli came to visit janka and me here in brno this week and it was great!! :) (except for the sickness, i was so sorry c'ena (&eli)).. we were shoppping and got some cool stuff :) maggie even joined me for wednesday's morning class and it was fun to see my begginer students try to communicate in english.. :) they were great, and megs was too. fun, fun.. :D

right now i am at school for a sec while al;l of my classmates are graduating and they are being SUPER nervous 'cause it's sorta a big deal here but i'm pretty sure they'll do just fine..

hey guys, i'm back! aren't you glad i ain't dead?!! ;) i'm sorry for not updating for so long but...but, traditionally, i didn't have time! :))

the trip to russia with the choir this month was amazing! i loved it so!! :) made some new friends in nyzhnyj novghorod, where we took part in a russian choir festival, and spent 2 days on moscow afterwards.. it was COOL!! ;) i will post pictures as soon as i will have any.. for now, check some on oja's site.

other than that, i am working (how suprising, right?) i am really looking forward to going to trnava for the weekend and seeing my DEAR friends i haven't seen for a LOOOONG time! :) by then, ciao!

after a real busy week in brno (tons of teaching and a lack of sleep) here i am for a real busy weekend in trnava! :) got my new passport today, hung out with my stylist :)), went to the B for a summer camp meeting (so excited already!!), helped janka some with her thesis, and now am headed for a choir practise.

thermogelling biodegradable block copolymers [source]

ok, i have an announcement to make - i've decided to stay at university for one more year and graduate in two semesters from now. a shocker, istn't it! after i started working on my diploma thesis i realised that i don't have enough time to do all my research properly and turn in my diploma thesis in time. fortunately, i've started to be very interested in the topic of my research which is a degradational behavior of thermogelling biodegradable copolymers such as PLGA-PEG copolymers functionalized with itaconic acid (yeah, i know, whatever that means :D). these compounds can be very useful in medical applications such as injectable drug delivery systems with controlled degradation kinetics, or scaffolding materials for tissue regeneration etc. such polymers are currently used in biodegradable sutures that don't require any surgical removal and many more useful applications..

so, anyhow, i've decided that i'd like to do the research properly and take one more year to study and then graduate. it's cool 'cause i can continue in my studies for free! this decision also solves a lot of the dilemmas i've delt with lately (e.g. whether to stay in brno and keep teaching english next year or leave the country and move out of the flat in brno). moreover, i have an approval of working (teaching english) and studying at the same time from my professor which is just cool! this way, i will also get one more summer vacation in my life! :)

anyhow, i am excited. and thankful. :) have a great weekend and don't forget to donate a kidney or two! :P

over this past weekend i stayed in brno and it was a great decision after all - after spending some quality time with my flatmates and having a really cool lunch we went to see the lion, the witch and the wardrobe in a movie theater here in brno.. even tho it was in czech and we had to sit in a second row it was a highlight of me week (together with church on sunday nite)! :] i cried half of the movie 'cause it was just so cool to watch! in words of LL, i deff/ loved it! :)

first day of school

after not-so-long and not-as-good christmas vacation i am at school again! yes. my semester will be over in february and even though i don't have any more lectures i still have some papers to turn in. like the one today - i was supposed to have a presentation on my paper and was working on it at school for almost 4 hours and - the profesor didn't show up! whatmore, she gave a permission to another profesor to give As to all of us without even looking at the paper nor viewing the presentation! i was a little pissed 'cause i think i did a decent job with this presentation but at the other hand i am glad i have my credit for nothing.
in other news (or - in addition to the previous) i'm sick. i have sore throat (sp?) since last year (31Dec) and i lost my voice several times since then. i had to cancel almost all of my classes this week. i am off to go to bed. happy new year.

well, it wouldn't be a post if it didn't begin with a picture of my retarded self :)

well, even tho i don't like christmas time at all, this past few weeks have been really outstanding and i would like to tell you about that a little since i didn't update for a longer while..

first of all, i am so thankful for all the good things i was granted this past year! i am so fortunate! in brno, i have the best flatmates one could ever have!! we had a christmas party a couple of weeks ago at the apartment in brno and while it was a load of fun it also ment a lot to me. i would never trade for any other flatmates, ever! :)

the other thing is - i have a job, and whatmore, i deff/ love it!! i love teaching and i love my students.. a week before christmas i decided to do a little christmas lesson for my classes and so we relaxed, talked about traditional christmases in english speaking countries and about our feelings about christmas and we also learned and translated the first verse of the silent night.. it was really fun to watch the students have fun (and it was even more precious for they all are grown-ups with lots of common grown-up problems) and be happy.. we also exchanged gifts and one of the students began crying during singing the silent night.. i love my students and i am SO looking forward to the january classes already!! they are the best motivation ever! :]

for another thing, i am so thankful for being a part of the two mixed choirs i sing in - tirnavia (trnava, slovakia) and vox iuvenalis (brno, the czech republic).. all the christmas concerts and after-parties were a huge part of my christmas this year.. we had a concert with vox in brno on 12/20/05 and at the after-party i realised how much the choir means to me.. i've been singing with those guys since 02/05 only but there is so much we have experienced together already - and gave me some good close friends - friends to laugh and cry with.. as for tirnavia, this year it seemed to be much more about people than ever before..

i also went out with a couple of my classmates this past week.. we had a lot of fun and tequilla, too :)

oh, i have almost forgotten!! :) i loved to see double a-ron after a long time!! :)

well, i just wanted to say that the whole december was a great christmas gift for me.. as for now, i am really enjoying the days when i don't have to open my daily planner to be able to live and don't have everything from travelling to breathing precisely scheduled.. :)

hey guys,
this past week has been really extraordinary! :)
on wednesday i had a presentation at school and in the afternoon i was singing with my group at an official opening of an exhibition of hygienic pottery (does that make sense?).. it was like medieval chamber-pots andf stuff like that.. :) pretty funny, plus our singing was really suprisingly suprising, too! :)
last nite i travelled to trnava for one day! it was a pretty cool roundtrip, i left brno at noon, walked around trnava a lil, got to see some of my B friends and sing at a choir rehearsal, got some good slovak pizza (with corn on it, of course) for late nite dinner and travelled back at 11.30pm. the highlight of the trip was walking from the bus station to my place here in brno from 2am to 3 am.. well, an hour long morning walk in freezing weather and a really dense fog is always a blast, isn't it! :)
the upcoming weekend will be supercool, too! today i am expecting juraj, noha and zzana from trnava to join me and janka for a weekend in brno! :D

hey there..
today is a national holiday in the czech republic so there is no work nor school today! :)
i slept in. i got up at 11am and had some really tasty hot latte and watched TV.. it really makes a huge difference to be able to stay in bed in da morning instead of getting up at around 6.30 and freezing all sleepy on the way to work..
i was about 40°F during the day and it was probably the last nice day of this year so i went out to the wood for a run. it was so cool, relaxing and refreshing!!! i realised that this will most probably be the last winter living in this great place in brno. how weird that feels..
i planned on working on some school and teaching stuff today but i just keep bomming around (is that a word?)..
well, i hope you guys are having a great day as well! :D

hey guys, i am so glad you liked the photostory :) i really had so much fun that nite! today i realised how important it is for me to have fun in order to get some good mental rest.. i love to be around my flatmates in brno and be my crazy little self 'cause i know they will be fine with that :) i also think that i'm learning how to appreciate weekends more.. this week has been so busy! and i really felt so exhausted today! after finishing the last class of the week this morning i took a nap and, seriously, it felt SO good!!! :] i'm a little hyper at the moment because i've just swiped a tall latte and the whole bottle of cherry coke (which petra thinks is not so cherry as one would expect it to be :P) and the caffeine intake would be sufficient for a sleepless nite :) but i am glad that i am not feeling tired anymore!!!

during andy's birthday party all of the flatmates were having tons of fun! :) i was listening to the radio and singing a song that went like "..i want to get to know ya! get to know ya!..." and i guess that the rest of the party thot i was having way too much fun so they decided to cool me down!!! here's the story>

hey guys.. i am trying to update more often but it is rather unreal.. :) hope you all are having a great sunday! 'cause i am! :) the whole weekend i spent with my choir practising for the big concert next week so that those of you who are coming will have fun! :) and, i had a good lunch and coffee at my mother's house just a while ago (she'll be glad i wrote that :) and now i am waiting for petra and we will go to the hymn sing at miriam's and megan's..

last weekend was really cool, too! mrrr, beth and gina came to czech republic and we went to "darwin and design" conference in prague together.. the conference was really cool and after that we went to brno for another fun time.. of course went shopping to h&m.. :) we had tons of fun even tho we were so tired! they left for trnava on monday morning..

due to lack of sleep the night before the confrerence, past week was really physically tiring.. i was teaching a lot and going to school too (which seldom happens anyway) and on thursday i crashed.. i was suuposed to go to school and teach some after the lecture but i overslept and i just couldn't get out of bed.. so i took 6 extra hours and instead of getting up at 6.30am i made it out of bed by 12.30... :)))

well, hope this week will be better!! :)) haha

vox iuvenalis, brno - the winner of secular music cathegory 2005

as you can see, the weekend was good.. :) our choir did win after all, even tho it wasn't our best performance ever and there were better choirs there.. as in general, we had tons of fun with my czech friends in my home town.. it was a really weird feeling to have them there 'cause the two of my worlds blended into one and it was just weird.. but good and tiring, too.

i was also glad to spent some time with the B peeps on sunday nite and i enyjoyed a beer with noah and the whole fun evening.. weekends seem to be more busy than weekdays!!!

i am totally ditching school this week but the reason is that we are having only one class this week and i just think it's boring.. and it's supposed to be in english but it's not and the only thing in english are slides and there are like 5 mistakes on each slide.. i mean, everybody does mistakes, but it's hard for me to concentrate on subject because i correct them in my mind unintentionally and then i feel like working again :)

i just simply love living in this appartment in brno! today one of my students cancelled her class so i had an evening off and i got home sooner than i thought.. i cooked a green and red pepper soup (?!) and had a blast with my flatmates. they are seriously the best ever!! we were laughing so hard that my eyes got really wet and janka couldn't stop laughing for good ten minutes :) then we started "fighting" and at one point we were all lying on the carpet piled up like a sandwich.. i was at the very bottom, choking from the weight of my roomates and laughing so hard!! it made my day!! :)

tomorrow i am going back to trnava for sort of a weekend - there is this annual choir festival in trnava and i am going to sing in 2 choirs at 5 different concerts during 3 upcoming days.. woo, i will be pretty warn out after all that but i am also very excited for my 2 choirs to meet there!!! :) tirnavia is going to sing during the opening ceremonies and vox will do the same and compete in addition to that..

i am off to bed and will leave you with my favorite part of what i read today in prince caspian (a book of chronicles of narnia by c. s. lewis):

on my way from school today i walked thru a forest we have close to our appartment in brno and it was so pretty! i have to take off both of my sweaters (for the morning was too chilly for a shirt) and i regreted not having my camera with me.. the evening sun was shining thru the leaves of red and gold and it felt so good.. just wanted top share this moment of joy with you! :D

otherwise i'm extra busy this week. i don't think it is physically possible to live this way for too long. but after this weekend i shall have more time to rest and have some fun..

matka's and jano's wedding on saturday was fabulous! :) they were both supercute and seemed really happy to me. i will post some pictures later. congratulations!! :)

norah jones

today started off as a crappy day but eventually turned out well.. i was teaching three 90-minute-long classes and almost lost my voice at the end.. the highlights of the day were a huge plate of delish chinese for lunch, reading prince caspian on the bus, listening to the idea of north, some pizza and pepsi (!!!) for dinner, few minutes in H&M with janka, a chat with sick and tired flatmates, and as for right now, listening to norah jones.. hope to get some good sleep tonite too for i don't have to get up at 6am again tomorrow.. i'm having a class about my master thesis tomorrow at 10 so i'm rather excited, considering it's about time i was actually doing something school-related :) on friday i have a big concert in czechia (aka western part of the czech republic, also bohemia) which will be good but tireing.. also, i'm really looking forward to jano's and matka's wedding this coming saturday!!! (which is going to be SO lovely by the way! :) i will make sure i keep you posted about that!)

woo, the first school day today! ;) actually, i really liked it 'cause i really like one of my classes (the rest of them i don't go to anyway).. this one is called 'environmental protection and sustainable development' and most importantly - it's in english. today we talked about 'silent spring' - a book by rachel carson from 1962. do any of you know that book?

ok, i promised to write some stuff about the trip to belgium. well, there is more stuff to talk about.. :)

belgium> part one> the choir contest..
the main reason of going to belgium this past week was to compete in a choir contest with vox iuvenalis (the brno choir i sing in). the contest itself took place in maasmechelen, belgium. the schedule of the contest was quite busy - it started on friday and ended on monday morning. anyhow, we decided to go on a trip a day earlier so we left brno on wednesday nite and spent the whole thursday in germany. we visited bonn and colonia (koln) where i'd never been to before so that was fun. and the whole trip itself was fine 'cause we had a very good bus and great bus drivers ;) but back to my point - the contest was very good because there were the best european amateur choirs competing.. in the final results we were 7th from 10 competing mixed choirs which is not the best result but considering the quality of all the contestants it is a very good result indeed. even being chosen to participate in this contest by a jury is a big honor to our choir..

well, she actually did pretty well in sopranos when she knew the melody.. it was just fun to have her with us there.. (the picture taken during a little choir workshop that followed the contest)

belgium> part two> the braeken-martens family
the very cool part of the trip was staying with families there.. this type of accommodation is often provided at this sort of contests or various choir events.. unfortunately, there were not that many choir members that could accommodate so many of us in beringen (a village where we stayed close to maasmechelen) so they asked some friends of theirs for a help. this way the conductor, his wife, janka and me ended up staying in a family that had almost no connection to the host choir of ours.. actually, almost everyone from their family has to do something with chemistry or engineering (or both) what i found very funny while i am going to be a chemical engineer myself in less than a year..
anyhow, i just wanted to say that this family took amazing care of all four of us, shared their home with us for three nights and days and fed us the most delicious food in the world (well, at least in this part of the world :))

i am all tired and sore. today we had a choir rehearsal for almost 8 hours straight.. i'm just done with preparing a test for one of my monday classes and i'm more than ready for bed. tomorrow morning i am travelling to slovakia for my grandma's birthday party and on monday morning i'm going back to brno to teach. on wednesday we are off for belgium with da choir for a competition and we are going to spent almost 5 days there! janka's comming with us..
so, it seems like there is no hope for much sleep nor physical rest this couple of upcoming weeks.. but i guess that is the prize of actually having a life to live outside of school and work.. does it make sense? well, it makes tons of sense to me :)

last nite a very strange thing happened..
i went to bed at about 2am and just before i lay down i opened a window to get some fresh air in even though it was a little chilly outside.. i fell asleep immediately. no wonder - i was supposed to get up at 6:45 to get ready to go to a wedding. so i curled up in my blanket and was ready to enjoy my 4hrs45min-long sleep..
ok, here comes the mysterious part - i get up at about 6am because i am freezing. i first think that my blanket fell off the edge of the bed cause it is not in my bed. i reach for it with my eyes still closed.. it is not on the floor. i open my eyes.. i can barely see 'cause it's still a little dark outside. the window's still open. i look around and i don't see it.. i stand up an take my glasses.. guess what - my blanket is on the couch, about 2 meters from my bed! 8-O
how the heck did the blanket get there??!!!
between the blanket and my bed there was a part of a wall and a pretty decent pile of clean laundry on a couch. i wouldn't be able to throw it there because of the wall. i wouldn't even be able to bring it there cause i would have to go around the laundry pile.. the only way i could bring it there would be to go all the way around the couch and the table and another bed to put it there.. means at leats 10 steps there and 10 steps back..
of course, i don't remember a single thing from that nite..
ok, any ideas? sleep walking?? aliens???
well, i'm a little scared. at least of my-freakin-lil-self.. :)

lord, i am so glad i can do what i really like for living! at least at the moment.. today i started teaching english for kappa packaging brno, a company dealing with products from paper such as corrugated cardboard and stuff like that. i was i bit nervous before we started but then i realised how much i love teaching!! :) i had a beginner class and then a class of lower intermediates (90 minutes each) and they both went so well! there were 2 students in each class and with the beginners we went thru whole english alphabet and spelling and they did very well. we also played some games with the other class to sort of start up the semester in a fun way. they liked it and i had a good time too. can't wait for my other 2 classes i'm teaching there on wednesday to begin! ;)

otherwise, life's been mainly english for me right now> i do teach english almost every day, i read english books, i read blogs written in english, i do think in english, i do write in english.. janka's pretty desperate about it, too.. today i asked for tape (in slovak, of course) and she replied without thinking> tape! (in english).. :))) we better take a break :)

and not to forget, saturday's wedding was seriously superCOOL (!!!) but i will post more about that later..

hope everyone is doing fine 'cause i am! ;)
there's not much new stuff once again.. i am just going from wedding to wedding and in between that i'm teaching.. next week will be super busy (or at least tireing) 'cause i am starting to teach 3 new classes and 1 i had last semester, i had it for just a while tho.. seems like i am starting my busy season once again ;)) i like it that way tho.. still get enough relax.. :)

this week was really funny cause we were acting so weird here in brno! we (janka and me) actually cleaned some stuff at the appartment and reorganized some furniture and yesterday we even washed widows!! nobody washed those in years!! ;) seriously, we never washed them and we've been living there for 3 years now!! ;)) wow.. yes, they were gross! :)) but now, they're clean and we can actually see outside! ;)

we are leaving for northern moravia with janka this evening and will be there all weekend long for the wedding of our dearest flatmates evah!!! ;)) you can find more about aja and breta at www.kulafamily.com.. and we will post pics from the wedding as soon as possible, too! ;)

i love brno. i do consider it my home after all. these days i am realising how much i appreciate living here..

ok, take my appartment. it's just perfect in a way that it provides all i need and far beyond that! starting with the best flatmates evah thru its location (5 minutes away from downtown, 2 minutes to the forest, 1 minute to grocery store), wonderfully quiet nights (and sometimes days as well), all the equipment in da house (by now we not only have a microwave, a stove, a fridge, a washing machine, a gym and 2 computers, we do have this 24/7 internet connection now!), incredibly reasonable rent and a landlord that doesn't care enough to bother us with his presence (ok, that was a lil rude)..

then take brno itself - to those of you who've been here already it is no use telling how pretty the architecture and city itself is.. set in the woods and with all this greenery in da town, lovely! :) you get this feeling of a village even tho the city itself accommodates somelike 500,000 people! no chance to get bored in here - lots of stores and restaurants, pubs and wineries, movie theaters and galleries ..and clubs :) plus, some cool universities and good job opportunities.. and most importantly, no parents around! i just got back from the movie theater and i think this movie was just awesome! :) well, it was not full of deep thots but i had fun watching every single minute of it and most of all i got some rest..

i just scanned some of the reviews and they don't talk about the movie in superlatives but i think it was a good 'switch off your brain and enjoy' type of movie.. seriously, when they fight and destroy (what they call remodel) the entire house, that's so cool!!! :) i'd never think that fight scenes could be so enjoyable! ;)

2 beautifull people, lots of pretty funny statements, loads of action and broken stuff.. 2 thumbs up! :))

hey! :) i am back in brno for a couple of days and i survived all the activities in trnava past week! seriously, i had tons of things to do and had tons of some good fun as well!! ;) right now i am ready to go to my bed and sleep for at least 9 hours and tomorrow i am going to check all of your blogs and post some pics from the last week! :) so, good nite! (i really am tired, that's why i make less sense than usuall)

i don't know how i could have thot that this week would go by so slowly and i woudlnt have stuff to do! seriously, i am just chillin out in and around trnava doing nothing more than drinking coffee or kofola and spending time with dear friends.. and the time just flies!!! scary, after all..

bad nite..

i finally realised today what it means to sleep bad.. this experience made me appreciate good sleep so much!

so, last nite we had a choir rehearsal here in trnava for the upcoming project we do on saturday in austria and were done by about 9:30pm, then went for a beer (a had a cup of coffee tho) and then went home. i got to bed about 1am since i couldn't sleep (probably the coffee but i never did have probems with that so i'm not sure) and was reading peculiar favor by charlie jones (peculiar person). i had a slight headache but i thot that by morning i will be fine..

in spite of that i couldn't even fall asleep till like 5am 'cause my headache wouldn't go away, it just grew stronger and stronger. at 5am i decided to sit on my bed and after i did that the headache just became unbearable. i felt like i will jump out of the window or something. the sun was rising already. the birds were singing in the trees. i was still awake with a terrible headache.. now, what do you call a nite like that?!!

finally, i got some medicine that i found in my bag and some that i found in the kitchen and then somehow the headache went away around 6am and i finally was able to fall asleep. i slept till 9:30am..

wow, this feels like i haven't written anything here in a long time! well, now i have a while to let you know about how i've been doing lately..

but first!!! i got on-line after a week or so and what do i see!! all these cool people getting xanga's and other blogs!!! oh my kidneys!!! :)) so, make sure you visit them! some of these are brand new and some of these are new to me ;)

todd willison is posting again! what i am extremely glad about! keep it up, todd! and you guys, fear his dance!!! haha! ;))

now, my fellas dominik, rudo (kuraci vlas) and ethan ledak have their xanga's but the first 2 just started so cheer'em up! ;) plus, kathy lesondak has one as well!!! and i am so sure there are more people i know starting their xangas but there's no way to keep track of that!!! ;)

now, tell me, WAS I OFF FOR A WEEK OR FOR THREE MONTHS!!! ;))

well, it seems like the summer's gone already! it's already mid-august and i feel like we should still have 3 more months of vacation and sun and water and fun stuff! unfortunately, it's not so. but! this summer's been an extremely good summer so far! it all started with my trip to greece to visit janka and have some 'real' vacation near the sea :)

then the english camp and the christian camp both were just awesome! i wish i could write more about that time but i just don't know where to start.. and, you know, then you get into detail and all these inside jokes and stuff that only people who were right there would understand.. so i think there's not much use in starting with that..

the real highlight of post-camp time was camping with da fellas!!! ;)) haha, we had a blast and i will not write about it more 'cause you would be jealous! :) no, the true reason is that both aaron and jano did a great job writing about this.. so check their posts about camping out!!

and now, the past week i've spent with vox (the brno choir) in a lil town called jevicko here in czech republic. once again, it was a terrific week full of singing and fun stuff like eating and sleeping ;), night games, coffee talks, evening walks.. you know what i mean? just a good time with your friends. as i think about that, i am so thankful for having that many good friends around me! in vox i instantly found a group of these peeps and we somehow naturally formed this some kind of click. this past week i had an opportunity to get to know them even better..
and also, once again this was a good opportunity for me to get away from daily troubles and stress and just relax in sort of way. not that i would have that many stressfull events to deal with daily but you know how good it is to just get away sometimes.. does this all make sense? ;)

now, i don't have many pictures from jevicko since my memory card was full i could take more.. but i have some ;)

listen up! ;) i am sorry i always just have so lil time to write! ;(
some exciting stuff - i am going camping with some awesome friends tonite!! ;) jano, aaronious, we will have a blast! ;)

i really had a great 3 days in brno with my friend tana from trnava and we did a lot of shopping and other fun stuff.. view all the pics!

i will be off for another week after that but i will make sure i post some pics! ;)
